Student Trainee (Information Technology-Pathways Internship)

GS 03
  • Work under the supervision of the manager who provides information technology (IT) work and objectives, defining priorities and deadlines, and advising on potential problems that may be encountered.
  • Assist higher graded IT specialists in the collection and analysis of data.
  • Assist higher graded information technology specialists with program support.
GS04
  • Work under the supervision of the manager who provides information technology (IT) work and objectives, defining priorities and deadlines, and advising on potential problems that may be encountered.
  • Perform a variety of assignments involving the practical application of information technology (IT) concepts, principles, procedures, processes and regulations.
  • Participate in a variety of projects utilizing basic computer skills to provide assistance in evaluating requirements and procedures, assisting with the preparation of technical reports and interacting with higher graded IT specialists.
GS 05
  • Complete information technology (IT) work and assignments with clearly defined objectives, priorities, and deadlines as advised by the supervisor.
  • Assists higher graded IT specialists in the collection and analysis of data
  • Participate various IT specialized areas including software development lifecycle principles and agile software development concepts.
GS 07
  • Complete a variety of information Technology (IT) projects utilizing computer skills to provide assistance in evaluating requirements and procedures, assisting with the preparation of technical reports, and interacting with senior program officials.
  • Performs a variety of recurring assignments, and technical tasks such as solving IT minor problems, and analysis in support of higher level Information Technology (IT) Specialists
  • Performs a variety of assignments involving the practical application of information technology (IT) concepts, principles, procedures, processes and regulations.
  • Evaluates established methods and procedures, and prepares recommendations for changes in methods and practices
