PMO Support Internship

The PMO Support Internship is a temporary position within HII – Mission Technologies which prepares a college student for entry into the workforce by providing emphasis on training and gathering experience related to a student's educational discipline and which is applicable to the business needs of the company. The position is for college students who are rising juniors or seniors in their academic program and are available to work part-time (15+ hours per week) during the spring 2024 semester and full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2024.
 

Essential Job Responsibilities

•    Support internal operations of the Program Excellence team to ensure a variety of documentation requirements are met
•    Produce and maintain standardized guidance documents, planning tools, and reporting templates
•    Coordinate with internal leaders to identify and shape requirements and ensure successful delivery
•    In support of assigned functional area, performs professional administrative work of an introductory nature gradually increasing in level of difficulty and responsibility
•    Identify, analyze, and capture project specific lessons learned
•    Perform work that is pertinent to field study
•    Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
 

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent + Must be working towards a bachelor’s degree with more than 60% of the required credits completed. Preference for Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Data Analysis, or related curriculum. Must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher while participating in this internship.
