Project Management and Operations Intern (Remote)


Sannam S4 is currently seeking a Project Management and Operations Intern (North America). This position requires an energized self-starter to provide creative ideas to help achieve the company-wide strategic goals. Specifically, this position will support the initiatives of the North America team including business development, research, thought leadership, operations, marketing, event planning and day-to-day tasks as well as support corporate, government and association stakeholder engagements.  Given the remote nature of the internship, the role will also give interns exposure to Sannam S4’s global teams, including interaction with the company’s largest team in India.  

The successful intern will have a range of duties also associated with operations of the Sannam S4 US Team and key company initiatives, including the US-India Knowledge Exchange (USIKE), which leverages the firm’s market leading education practice group initiative.

The anticipated timeline for this position is September 2020-December 2020 (with a possibility of an extension to the Spring 2021 semester). We can be flexible on the duration of the internship and on a full or part time basis.  Strong candidates have moved onto OPT and full-time roles within Sannam S4’s business internationally.

This is an unpaid internship.

Responsibilities


Project Management Support:

  • Project-based research.
  • Proposal writing support.
  • Costing analysis for projects.
  • Delivery of projects and assisting with project tracking timelines.
  • Identification and resolution of project issues.
  • Tracking project expenses.
  • Event planning and management.

Business Development Support:

  • Support Sannam S4’s business development team in North America by providing operational tasks to streamline the sales process including prospective client research, data mining and communication support.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communications between sales team, marketing team and the operations team to ensure effective campaigns and assisting in promotional activities. Support content creation as required for BD and sales.
  • Provide support for event logistics, visits, delegations, and conferences especially for the U.S.-India Knowledge Exchange Initiative.
  • Assist and update company database and customer relationship management system (CRM) for North America.
  • Support Sannam S4’s market research tasks such as developing business lists for database management and for USIKE initiatives.

General Support:

  • Developing, streamlining and maintaining systems to ensure effective operations across the North America education team (as directed by the Operations Manager – Education (North America).
  • Other tasks as needed. Additional tasks may be needed (and available) depending on various projects which may arise during the position time period and/or intern’s desire to gain experience within a particular area.

Minimum Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; team player that works well with others
