The Role:
Morning Consult is seeking a content production intern for the summer who will assist in all phases of the content production process, using Morning Consult’s public opinion data. The main responsibilities will include maintaining survey datasets, building pages for the website, writing up results based on the data, and analyzing the impact content is having.
While content production makes up the bulk of the duties, there will be other opportunities to learn from and contribute to the content division. Success in this role requires an attention to detail, and an interest in working with data.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Maintain databases for survey data
- Analyze and identify trends in the data
- Build and maintain public data-driven pages on the website
- Analyze content performance, and help improve content categorization and process

- Rising junior or senior currently pursuing with a bachelor's degree
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent Excel skills
- Have an eye for how to use data to tell stories and bring together narratives
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Experience working with survey research/polling data is a plus, interest in work with data is a must
