2023 Summer Intern - Accounting & Management Reporting (Fully Remote)

• Assist in the preparation of GAAP and Statutory journal entries, including investigating all variances in premiums, fees, other income, benefits, and interest credited income statement lines.
• Assist in the completion of GAAP and Statutory income statement and balance sheet analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of documentary support for all reported information, including business data, core financial statements, footnote disclosures, and schedules as applicable.
• Assist with the collection of and preparation of support for ad hoc requests for financial data used by various internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

• Sophomores and Juniors studying Finance/Accounting. Seniors planning to attend grad school are also eligible. 
• 0-2 years of experience in Accounting and Financial Services
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Effective time management and prioritization
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• $23/hour pay; 40 hour work weeks (with the exception of holiday weeks) 
• 10-week summer program: 5/30/2023 to 8/4/2023
