Volunteers Needed! for The ALS Association Walks (Detroit Zoo) 10-1-22 and (Kalamazoo) 10-8-22
We are in dire need of volunteers for our upcoming ALS Association Detroit Walk which is scheduled on October 1st, 2022. We have setup on Friday, September 30th in the evening and all day on the walk day Saturday.

Volunteer Task Description:
Set up Crew: will assist with setting up signage, tents, tables, and chairs for the event.
Food & Beverage Crew: These volunteers will help hand out food and beverages to Walk participants before the event start underneath the pavilion.
Greeter: You will be responsible for greeting participants as they show up. Help guide them to the correct line (registration, check in, express check in). We will prep you with basic information to answer questions guests may have. You will be responsible for helping breakdown the registration area.
Registration/Check-in Crew: Volunteers will assist with registering new walkers and checking in pre-registered walkers.
T-shirt table Crew: will hand out designated t-shirts to walkers. Walkers who raise $100 will be given t-shirt ticket at registration.
Clean-Up Crew: will assist in breaking down the event. This includes signage, tents/stations, tables and chairs, and involves loading certain items into a moving truck. Volunteers that signed up for other positions are welcome to come early and walk for the event and help break down afterwards.
