Student Trainee (Auditing)

This is for a summer 2023 internship position in the Office of Enforcement. As a Student Trainee (Auditing), some of your typical work assignments may include:
  • Applying generally accepted accounting principles to financial filings made by energy companies to solve energy market and financial issues.
  • Drafting work papers and summary reports to highlight accounting issues.
  • Performing a variety of research and spreadsheet analysis in response to problem areas identified in filings made by energy companies.
  • Participating in meetings to discuss specific project concerns or process improvements.
